Education liberates the intellect, unlocks the imagination, and is fundamental for self-respect. Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all.
Education also helps in reducing inequalities, as too much of the world’s wealth is held by a tiny group of people. For nations to flourish, equality and prosperity must be available to everyone – regardless of gender, race, religious beliefs, or economic status. When every individual is self-sufficient, the entire world prospers.
PROBLEM:
The key problem that we would like to solve is that the Sustainable Development Goals are not known to the public and citizens are not motivated to act upon to solve these problems. If timely action is not taken, we will not be able to achieve the goal of addressing these problems by 2030.
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Kind Cause is focusing on solving this key problem by:
- Raising awareness of the sustainable development goals and starting a discussion as to how to achieve them
- Involving the knowledge workers to brain-storm on ideas as how to tackle these problems
- Work with other nonprofits and help them become more efficient by making use of technology. Why? This will help them reduce their operational costs to ultimately help them to do more for our community.
- Help fund-raise for the nonprofits who are working to achieve the sustainable development goals
