Terms and Conditions:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: (a) The organization is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, i.e., the nonprofit is based in the U.S. (b) Grants are provided for one-time implementation fees for technology project based on the size and affordability of the nonprofits.
  2. Application Deadlines: (a) We evaluate applications on an ongoing, rolling basis. (b) Applications received before March 31, 2024, will be given preference.
  3. Grant Purpose: The grant’s purpose is to enhance the technological capabilities of nonprofits so they can fundraise more, better manage their programs, and better measure their impact. On receiving the grants, the nonprofits could fundraise more and better serve their missions.
  4. Grant Amount: (a) The grant holds no cash value. (b) The grant amount is expected to cover most of the one-time implementation fees for the technology solution provided to the nonprofit.
  5. Selection Process: The selection process focuses on identifying nonprofits that positively impact achieving the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To learn more about the SDGs, visit https://sdgs.un.org/goals
  6. Reporting Requirements: All nonprofits receiving grants (i.e., grantees) must complete a brief monthly survey, taking two minutes or less, to help us measure the impact that KindCause.org generates for your nonprofit, as this would help us structure future programs over 24 months.
  7. Funding Disbursement: The grant holds no cash value for the grantee and will be directly disbursed to CFOsquared, Inc., our technology implementation partner, to help implement the selected technology solution for your nonprofit.
  8. Compliance with Regulations: Grant recipients must maintain their active 501(c)(3) status in good standing.
  9. Monitoring and Evaluation: Nonprofits receiving CRM implementation grants must enroll in a 24-month success plan, akin to having a coach, to cover CRM maintenance, system audits, and success consultations.
  10. Acknowledgment and Publicity: KindCause.org reserves the right to display grant recipients’ names publicly. KindCause.org reserves the right to publish a blog article or include information about the nonprofit recipients.
  11. Communication with Recipients: All grantees will be assigned a dedicated KindCause program manager, and nonprofits can communicate with them via email.
  12. Review and Revision: The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and the latest terms will be available on KindCause.org.
  13. Legal Implications: By applying for and receiving the grant, the nonprofit agrees to waive any right to sue KindCause.org or CFOsquared, Inc., the consulting company helping implement the technology solution, for any reason.
  14. Transparency: All grant recipients will receive notification in their feedback, including the reason for the denial.
  15. Appeal Process: All grant decisions are final. Given the limited number of grants available each month, eligible grantees will receive priority consideration for the next round of grants.
